Since all soldiers revere their Mommas, they tend to spend a great deal of
time thinking about them. Home, the cooking, and Mom there to give you a
hug and tell you it is ok when needed. This picture is rather special.
Mother was the name of the very first tank to ever go into combat. Nobody
will ever know if the name was given because the name giver was homesick,
or his Mother was the terror of all time (built like a tank???)! Either
way, all tanks owe their development to "Mother" and are her children.
Just like WW2 aircraft, tankers would sometimes paint pictures (nose art)
on their tanks to decorate them. Being that I own a tank site... well,
your picture deserves to be on a tank, the Mother of all tanks...
