To: The Bureau of Federal Investigation
To Whom It May Concern,
The following letter was delivered to me by mistake, I felt I
should send it to you immediately since one of your agents appears to be in some difficulty. There was no return address ... only a BFI seal on the back. It arrived written on very old parchment, and the post date was unbelieveably old. I would have sent you the letter itself, but the paper was so aged and fragile, I was afraid another trip through the US mail system might be a bit to much for it. So I've enclosed a copy for you. However, I do fear that this letter arrived a day or so too late, because just this morning I received the attached photo from an anonymous sender... also with no return address. She seems to be smiling don't you think???

the letter:
Dearest Anastasia,
I no longer trust the Bureau of Federal Investigation to understand this,
they may think I am just playing a joke, therefore I send this letter to
you...While following the sound of Distant Drums, I caught a glimpse of
"The Momma" I followed her into a portal (I wish I had known that that was
what it was at the time, I would not have gone.) I saw her make contact
with the Dragon, and followed her through the next portal which dumped me
here in The old wild west where I did meet a friendly indian named Tonto.
I think I figured out the reason for her bag. She
is traveling in so many times, and in so many places, that she fears
meeting herself, so she must wear the bag to prevent a paradox. I have no
idea from what time she actually hails, and I haven't seen her in this era
again in 10 years, I would like to ask you to enlist the help of the ~
Sorceress ~ I believe that she could help me get back to the correct place
in time. With use of her crystal ball, perhaps she and I will be able to
communicate. I'll be waiting for your help. In the meantime, Tonto is taking me
to meet his partner Kemosabe. Hey, maybe at least I can find out who The Lone Ranger really is while I'm stuck here and meeting someone new will certainly help me take my mind of The Momma!
Thank you my dearest,
